Breads and Roses was a touching and effective movie. It
accomplished its motive of reaching out to the masses about the troubles of
immigrant domestic laborers. The movie was true to some extent about the
invisibility of these domestic laborers to the higher class. They were ignorant
or chose to be ignorant about the problems and difficulties of these laborers
until they faced problems in their daily routines.
Their struggle for a better life and the way they stay
united throughout the movement is great to watch.
